Junior 3 – maths station

Today, during our Maths lesson the junior 3s were given four stations to work with and on.  The aims and objectives of the ‘stations’ were:

  • to learn and consolidate the use of the word ‘pair’ in its differnt meanings
  • to learn and consolidate the use of finding pairs of numbers
  • to practise the adding of pairs of numbers as is on TB page 10 green.
  • to practise the multiples of  2

The children were put in a group in their own tables and given one of the above four tasks.  Every 5 to 7 minutes they rotated from one table to another so that they can all work at all the tasks.  When the rotating will be done by all the students, they should be able to work  the exercise on page 10 green.

And here are our “Little Angels” at work.
